WEED CONTROL PROGRAM

Weed control is a year around job! In the Spring and Summer, the District sprays and mows weeds along the drainage ditch banks.  It helps us to be able to inspect the drains for problems.  Unattended weed growth can result in weeds becoming dead debris in the fall and cause the drainage pipelines to be blocked and waters to backup.  Then the ditches can overflow and flood the nearby property!  You can help!

The District takes care of the drainage ditch channel and banks.   You can control the weed growth on your property to prevent the spread of those nasty weeds.

ARE YOUR IRRIGATION DELIVERY SYSTEMS CLEAN? 

HAVE YOU CLEARED YOUR WASTE WATER DITCHES OF ALL OF THE DEAD WEEDS AND VEGETATION?

The irrigation season will soon end (October 31st.)  However, the District continues the maintenance programs throughout the year.  Please make note of any repairs needed on the drainage ditch banks.

Is your tail pipe rusted out?  Is there a place where the bank is slipping?  Please call us and let us know today.  We need to schedule these repairs.  Thanks in advance for your help.

The District's crews will continue the cleaning of the open ditches and  pipelines that are part of our system.

You can help us protect your property.  Do you  have personal items parked on the drain embankments?   

Help us by moving those items to allow the workers clear access to the drainage ditch. This will allow the crews to pass through your property safely.
