Ditch Channel Cleaning:
Main ditch channels cleaned of dirt and debris.

Vegetation Management:
Flow improvement is achieved by ditch burning, spraying and cutting.

Repair & Replace Canal Crossings:
Various methods are used to ensure canal crossings are safe.

Stabilize Drain Ditch Banks:
Gravel and spill pipes are installed where needed. Spill pipes transport irrigation water into drainage ditches.

Clean Trash & Debris at Grates:
(Twice weekly)
Trash & Debris are removed twice each week at grates with a hooking fork. Over 160 locations are checked for debris by the GJDD.

Clean Pipelines:
Debris is removed from pipelines by pumping water at high velocity, or by using tools pulled by steel cables through pipe channels.
